What is Emojiverse?

Emojiverse is the parent to Emoji Economy products on The Open Network. It starts with an emoji name service and builds toward the house of all Emoji Finance.

Emojiverse builds the Emoji Economy on The Open Network. Every product shares one idea: emoji are the most universal symbols people have, and they should be able to carry identity, value and play on-chain the way words do.

The first product is the Emoji Name Service — emoji strings as ownable, resolvable, tradable names. It is a value-add and a stepping stone, not the destination. Names are how an ecosystem gets its addressing layer; finance and gaming are what get built on top of it.

The four things worth knowing first

  1. Register your emoji name and own it as an NFT. Every name is minted as a standard TEP-62 NFT the moment you register it — the NFT is the ownership. Hold it in your wallet, sell it on any TON marketplace, or transfer it like any other collectible; the name and its remaining term go with it. See The NFT layer.
  2. Names are rented, not sold. ENS-style: you pick a term, you renew, there is a 90-day grace period, and the remaining term travels with the name when you sell it. Renewal prices are immutable constants — nobody, including us, can raise your carrying cost after you buy.
  3. Single emoji are special. 🚀 on its own is never available at a list price. Singles are released only through curated auctions with a hard 150 GRAM floor, and only single-emoji names can be upgraded to a permanent, non-expiring term.
  4. Look-alikes are the real risk, and we treat them as such. An emoji name service has an attack surface that a text name service does not: 😮 and 😯 are different names that render almost identically. Risks explains what we block, what we warn about, and what we cannot fix.

Where this is going

The name service is stage one. The roadmap runs through resolution (making an emoji name work in any TON wallet), then integration (making it work natively inside the clients people already use), and then the products that need an identity layer to exist at all — Emoji Finance and Emoji gaming.

We are honest about which stage each piece is in. The technical overview lays out the resolver architecture, what works right now under emojiverse.ton, and what a first-class .emoji suffix would actually require.

Reading order If you are here to buy a name, read Registering and Renewals. If you are here to integrate, start at Integration. If you are here to audit, start at Security and operability.
